Bao-Thy Grant, DDS

Dr. Bao-Thy Grant, DDSYou only have to talk to Dr. Grant for a minute to feel her enthusiasm and passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery. She is committed and compassionate to her patients and thrives on integrity.

In 1998, Dr. Grant completed her undergraduate degree in Business and went on to obtain her D.D.S. degree both at the University of Southern California. During her dental school years, one of her many accomplishments include being a recipient of the John J. and Marcia L. Lytle Endowed Scholarship. A four-year scholarship awarded to her for her exceptional leadership skills and academic excellence.

In 2004, upon obtaining her D.D.S. she was an honoree and recognized for her various achievements which include the California Dental Association Scholarship, Delta Dental Student Leadership Award, Horace Wells Student Award, Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship, Century Club Senior Dental Student Award, American Association of Women Dentists and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

True to her commitment, after graduating from USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Grant moved to New York to pursue her postgraduate residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery at one of the largest ADA accredited programs in the country, Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. While there, she served as the Chief Resident at Beth Israel Hospital, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Jersey City Medical Center, Montefiore Hospital, and Weiler Hospital. She was inducted as a member of the Leo M. Davidoff Society for her outstanding achievement in the teaching of medical students. In addition, she has published various articles on dental implants.

Dr. Grant is married to Dr. David E. Grant and has a daughter, Kyla Madison. Dr. Grant currently resides in Newport Beach. Her journey thus far has been very rewarding and she gives credit to her family, friends, and mentors who have supported her endeavors every step of the way.
